In 2009, Nu Heightz Cinema, in collaboration with the United Confederation of Taíno People (UCTP), produced a public service announcement entitled "Reconsider Columbus Day." The PSA and its accompanying awareness-raising campaign called for the recognition of  a National Native American Holiday and the efforts to achieve such a day continue. This website is a work-in-progress that documents the original campaign and the on going calls for the recognition Indigenous Peoples Day.
